Orient Queen

We had a superior inside cabin which was very small. Bed against the wall so one of us always had to climb over the other, not very easy when you are in your 60's. But it was only used for sleeping in so could not complain too much. Shower very small but only to be expected on board ship

Loved the choice of a la carte or buffet, so never a day when you could not find something that you enjoyed eating. Presentation of food was excellent and the quality good considering they were catering for over 600 people.

One thing you could not complain about is the service. Everyone was there to cater to your every whim. Not once did we notice a member of staff without a smile on their face and the hours they worked were huge. Cannot commend the staff enough.

Entertainment was awful, pools always freezing cold, bars were comfortable and well stocked, library a waste of time

Too expensive, did not use

Would always travel with Louis Lines again, but would never use Newmarket Travel. We opted to travel by Eurostar and TGV to Marseille and back. Only just made the ship in time on the way out and the return journey took us 14 hours to get back to Ebbsfleet due to the times of trains booked on our behalf.
